De manière générale lorsque l'on pense, ou dit, le mot "régime", il y a tout de suite une petite connotation négative et une multitude de questions qui pointent le bout de leur nez. La première est : « Oulala, comment je vais gérer cela au niveau des courses, repas …. » Ensuite : « Où trouver des produits adaptés à ce régime ? » « Quelles recettes faire ? » …
Bref, toutes sortes d’interrogations que beaucoup d’entre nous se posent, se sont posés ou se poseront. Côté émotion, on se sent seul et face à un mur à franchir mais on ne sait par quel bout l’attaquer.

Alors pour donner une note positive à ce mot « régime » voici ce que moi j’en retiens :

Déjà, j’ai découvert que pour un régime sans sel il y a des produits industriels disponibles : maïs, thon, sardines, tomates, cubes bouillon de légume, moutarde, légumes surgelés …. Ouf, cela soulage un peu pour la préparation des repas. De plus, je me dis qu’il y a ne serait-ce que 5 ou 10 ans beaucoup de ces produits n’existaient pas. La tendance actuelle est de diminuer le sel dans les produits transformés : nous devrions donc voir apparaître de nouveaux produits sans sel. Chouette.

Ensuite, pour ce qui est de faire les courses. Je fais effectivement plus de magasins, et je reconnais qu’au début j’ai passé pas mal de temps à trouver ce que je souhaitais. Mais maintenant j’en gagne (du temps) car je sais que dans tel magasin/enseigne je vais chercher ceci, dans tel autre cela.

Côté cuisine, l’obligation d’adapter les recettes à un régime m’a redonné le goût de passer du temps derrière les fourneaux (bien que parfois j’en ai plus que marre). J’ai découvert des modes de cuissons que je n’utilisais pas ou peu. J’ai également découvert le plaisir de modifier/adapter/inventer des recettes, même si les résultats ne sont pas toujours concluants. C’est encourageant/réconfortant/gratifiant de voir que tout compte fait je m’en sors avec ce régime sans sel, et que ce n’est pas pour autant que cela n’a pas de goût. La meilleur récompense c’est lorsque les enfants disent « Mmmmm, c’est trop bon. T’en refais quand ? ».

Pour ce qui est des relations humaines, aller au restaurant et aborder cette question de régime sans sel change le relationnel avec le personnel en salle et en cuisine. Idem pour acheter une glace au coin de la rue. Via ce site (merci Guillaume) je me sens moins seule, je me suis rendue compte qu’il y a beaucoup de personne concernée par un régime et que tout compte fait un simple régime sans sel n’est pas si terrible que ça. Le fait d’en discuter avec les amis/voisins/collègues/famille permet de piocher des idées et de faire prendre conscience aux autres que le sel est présent partout.

Pour moi, ben : 1. on mange tous beaucoup moins salé (on perd l'habitude de saler systématiquement les pâtes ou le riz) 2. on mange moins de cochonneries (plats tout faits) 3. j'ai acheté une machine à pain (parce que trouver du pain sans sel, c'est possible, mais ça demande bien trop d'organisation !) et du coup, je n'en achète presque plus !!!

Je dois depuis 2 mois de par mon foie NE PAS PRENDRE 1 yota de sel, je serais preneur de toute préparation, surtout sauce ,cornichons sans sel et adresses magasins ou trouver des produits sans sel, j'ai le temps je suis en retraite, de plus personne de sais m'expliquer pourqoi sans sel et l'interraction du sel dans l'organisme (hormis le rétension d'eau). Effectivement, comme le dis Adnem, on mange beaucoup moins de cochonneries donc vie plus saine (pas de macdo, pizza ou rarement). On cuisine plus et on y prend plaisir (en tout cas, pour ma part!) On économise de l'argent à se faire tous les midis à manger au lieu de s'acheter sandwich et salades toutes prêtes. Mais bon, effectivement, le gros point négatif c'est de toujours devoir prévoir, s'organiser, ne pas manger chez un tel si la veille j'ai mangé au resto etc..
